The provincial governments have established local regulations so that the driving force of tourism can benefit the community’s economy. In the framework of government policy, NTT also being pushed into one of the provinces with super priority destinations especially in Flores, Lembata and Alor regions. So more than 50 percent of the districts in NTT actually enter a super priority destination policy that is supported by national policy where aspects of 5A (Attractions, Activities, Accessibility, Accommodation, and Amity) are limited.
One of the entry points of the tourism destinations in NTT is accommodation aspect. There are no more than 5 percent of tourism destinations in NTT that have adequate accommodation. Likewise, amenity, especially in terms of support factor such as the outlets of creative economy or culinary still limited in tourism destinations.
On the contrary there is a strong side to each destination, that is, the openness of the community which is good and adaptive to interact with the outside community. This is also a capital that can increase the attractiveness of tourists to NTT. On the other hand aspects that are still lacking will be a concern of NTT government to be addressed because the NTT governments have set tourism as a motor for the economy.
